Robert Brown’s Biography

Robert Brown is a native of Hempstead Long Island and spent his formative years in Lakeview, New York. Robert is the son of Michael and Deborah and older brother of Syeeda Cooper. Robert came to experience God's miraculous power early in life as he was healed of a learning disability at the age of 8. He went on to become a perennial honor student for the remainder of his time in school and gives all the glory to the Lord. It was during his adolescence that Robert received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a local R.W. Schambach tent rival at the age of 15. Robert answered his call to ministry in 1999 and was officially ordained an “Elder” in the year 2003. During his time in ministry, Robert has served as Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and eventually as Senior Pastor for 4 years in a church in Dallas, Texas. Robert is currently the Pastor of Living Waters Christian Center, a ministry located in Amityville, New York. Robert is the proud husband of Dorette Brown since 1993, and together they have parented three children. Robert’s desire is to unveil the beauty of Christ through the preaching of the Gospel of Grace. It is Robert’s belief that through Christ centered preaching and teaching, believers and ultimately the world at large, will come to fully understand the awesome grace and love available to them because of the finished work of Christ at the cross.
